KCON JAPAN 2023
KCON 2023 actively developed former KCON’s characters of KCON 2022 and used them as a key visual theme for the main graphics. As elements that could express the cultural characteristics of Japan and the United States, the hosts of KCON, we proposed Japanese manga and American comic cartoons as visual themes.
THE MOMENTS: THE HANDMAIDEN
This project involved the overall concept and composition of a photo book containing still cuts from director Park Chan-wook’s film The Handmaiden, as well as photo retouching. The cover design of this book has two versions each for the main characters, Sook-hee and Hideko.
BTS 10th ANNIVERSARY FESTA ‘BTS PRESENTS EVERYWHERE’
‘BTS FESTA’ is a festival where BTS celebrates its debut date, June 13th, with fans every year. In 2023, in celebration of the 10th anniversary of the team’s debut, various events were held both online and offline throughout Seoul in collaboration with the Seoul Metropolitan Government.
PARASITE ORIGINAL SCREENPLAY & STORYBOARD
A Screenplay & Storyboard Book Set design from the movie Parasite directed by Bong Joon-ho. The storyboard and screenplay book cover depicted the same scene. In all of them, only half of the face of the main character, Song Kang-ho (Ki-taek in the play) is included, focusing on his unique eyes and mood to show the highlights of the movie.

[24th JEONJU INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL EVENT] A designer talk was held in Jeonju on the topic of festival identity design.

The theme of the 24th Jeonju Film Festival is the infinite potential of J Screen, which expands within the city of ‘Jeonju’ beyond the boundaries of personal screens such as mobile and computer monitors in the post-cinema era.

More Heat Than Light is a graphic design and art direction studio in Seoul. We are engaged in various areas, such as a book, websites, packaging, exhibitions, visual identities and space. SAAMOORAM
SAAMOORAM is a project for a complex cultural space by artist Lee Chan-hyuk. We focused on the meaning of ‘locker’(which is “saamooram” in Korean) and imagined creators expressing their creativity within every single room in this space.
SAINT GOUT DE PAIN
Saint Gout de Pain is a dessert brand that presents a modern reinterpretation of Korean Yakgwa. By designing symbols representing each flavor, we create an ensemble of taste and sight in the package design.
PIZZERIA HOKEY POKEY
Following the first branch of pizzeria hokey pokey, a new store opened in Gwanghwamun. We gave a new concept story to Pizzeria Hokey Pokey’s characters, dogs and cats. The setting is a dog (hokey) and a cat (pokey) who seem somewhat secretive and blunt, but are stubborn towards the best pizza.
KCON 2022
For KCON 2022, the first ever online and offline festival held simultaneously, we proposed a new visual direction that reflects the emotions and trends of the changing times. Using the mobile interface as a graphic motif, we developed a design that crossed the boundaries between online and offline.

SF2021: A FANTASY ODYSSEY
《SF2021: Fantasy Odyssey》 is planned with the theme of science fiction at the Buk-Seoul Museum of Art, Seoul Museum of Art. We carried out the project with the goal of making the audience feel excited as if they were boarding a spaceship called SF2021 rather than an art museum.
KOUVE
Kouve is a self-nail brand for people who express themselves creatively through their hands and feet. We proposed the unique ‘aura’ that only creators have as a brand identity, and developed a graphic motif by embodying the movement at the moment when the aura is revealed.
TKII
TKII’s main graphic motif is a warm and cute image of a magpie showing its face inside a house with a gable roof. We humorously expressed the unique round image of the magpie through illustrations.
ONESTAR OLD-FASHIONED HAMBURGERS
ONESTAR is an authentic American-style hamburger restaurant run by a stubborn owner. Following the owner’s beliefs, we created a graphic with the phrase, “Never use a fork to eat a hamburger!”
HYBE INSIGHT X SHINSEGAE GALLERY
This is a spin-off exhibition of HYBE INSIGHT, presented in collaboration between Shinsegae and HYBE Insight for global fans who love HYBE’s music. You can feel the joy and energy of HYBE music through various typographic movements.
HYBE BOYS PERFORMANCE QUIZ
This is an interactive article focusing on the performances of boy groups (BTS, TXT, ENHYPEN, SEVENTEEEN) belonging to HYBE Labels. A random photo card appears at the end of the game, allowing users to customize stickers on top of the artist’s photo.

SZIMPATIKUS
SZIMPATIKUS’s graphic motif is “Wunderkammer, a room of amazing things,” which means a collection that reflects one’s own taste. We developed a logo system that follows the grid of the cabinets.
