A Screenplay & Storyboard Book Set design from the movie Parasite directed by Bong Joon-ho. The storyboard and screenplay book cover depicted the same scene. In all of them, only half of the face of the main character, Song Kang-ho (Ki-taek in the play) is included, focusing on his unique eyes and mood to show the highlights of the movie. Parasite’s unique mise-en-scène and major objects were used as metaphors throughout the book, including adding the pattern of Indian feathers from the movie to the bridge and using the shape of an underground staircase, the main location of the movie, as a page number.
